Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Studyula uses cookies and similar browser technologies on studyula.com.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
Studyula uses necessary or functional browser technologies to keep your account securely signed in, prevent forged requests, remember language preferences, and support PWA or offline functions. The active Studyula web app currently does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or similar advertising or behavioral-marketing trackers.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data stored by a browser and sent with later requests to help a website remember a session, preference or security state. Similar technologies include localStorage, service workers and browser cache storage.
2. Which cookies does Studyula use?
Studyula currently uses service cookies for account sessions, CSRF protection, language preference and restricted operator sessions. Their exact names, purposes and durations may be updated as the product changes.
3. Necessary cookies
The studyula_session cookie keeps an authenticated user signed in and is configured with security protections such as HttpOnly and SameSite. The studyula_csrf cookie helps protect forms and API requests from cross-site request forgery. These cookies are necessary for secure account functionality.
4. Preference and functionality technologies
The studyula_locale cookie remembers the selected public language, generally for up to one year. Functional storage may also remember limited interface preferences that make the service easier to use.
5. Session-related localStorage
Studyula may store a limited session hint and language-related information in localStorage to improve interface behavior. The active authentication token is not intended to be stored there as a substitute for the protected session cookie.
6. PWA, service worker and Cache Storage
When Studyula is installed or used as a PWA, a service worker and browser Cache Storage may keep application files needed for faster loading or limited offline behavior. Clearing site data in your browser can remove these cached resources.
7. Web push notifications
If you choose to enable web push, the browser creates a push subscription containing technical delivery information. Push is optional and can be disabled through Studyula or browser/device notification settings.
8. Analytics, advertising and marketing cookies
The active Studyula frontend currently does not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or similar advertising or behavioral tracking tags. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, we will update this policy and use consent controls where required.
9. Third-party services
AI, payment, email or other external providers can operate their own sites or hosted pages and may use cookies under their own policies. A third-party cookie used on an external provider page is governed by that provider’s practices unless Studyula controls it.
10. How can you manage cookies?
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent login, security checks, language persistence or PWA functions from working correctly.
11. Consent and legal approach
Necessary technologies may be used without optional marketing consent where permitted because they are required to provide or secure a service requested by the user. For non-essential technologies that require consent under applicable law, Studyula intends to request an appropriate choice before use.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if cookie names, durations, browser technologies or third-party services change. The current version will be published on this page.
