Child Safety Policy

This policy explains how Studyula approaches the safety of minor learners in Grade 5 and above and which behaviors are strictly prohibited on the platform.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

Summary

Studyula’s individual learner experience is designed for Grade 5 and above. Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, threats, blackmail, bullying, inappropriate contact, exposure of personal data, and other conduct that endangers minors are strictly prohibited.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Studyula’s website, PWA, AI Assistant, learning and document tools, student, teacher, counselor, guardian and institution features, notifications, reports and related services.

2. Studyula’s individual learner experience starts at Grade 5

Studyula’s individual learner experience is designed for Grade 5 and above. Parent, guardian, teacher and institution involvement does not remove any consent or child-safety requirement imposed by applicable law.

3. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Creating, requesting, uploading, storing, sharing or distributing child sexual abuse material is prohibited, including realistic synthetic or manipulated material. Using AI to sexualize, exploit, coerce or facilitate abuse of a minor is also prohibited.

4. Grooming and inappropriate adult-minor contact

Adults and staff may not use Studyula to build secretive, manipulative or sexual relationships with minors, request intimate images, pressure a child to keep communications secret, make sexual proposals, or exploit a position of trust.

5. Bullying, harassment, threats and blackmail

Bullying, repeated harassment, threats, blackmail, humiliation, intimidation or targeted abuse of a minor is prohibited. Academic, guidance, family or other sensitive information may not be weaponized against a student.

6. Encouraging self-harm or dangerous behavior

Do not use Studyula to encourage a child or teen to self-harm, undertake seriously dangerous acts, or normalize conduct likely to cause severe physical harm. AI tools must not be used to intensify such risks.

7. Personal data and privacy

Do not disclose a minor’s address, phone number, private images, reports, academic information or guidance data without authorization. Access to student data must be limited to a legitimate and authorized educational purpose.

8. Responsibilities of institutions, teachers and counselors

Institutions should keep staff permissions current, remove access when roles end, and ensure that student data is used only for authorized educational or support functions. Role-based access is not permission for unrelated monitoring.

9. Parent or guardian access

Guardian access requires a valid relationship and authorization. It does not provide access to other students’ information. Shared parent reports may be time-limited, controlled or revocable and should not be redistributed without authorization.

10. Misrepresenting age

Users must provide an accurate date of birth. Falsifying age or education information to bypass a grade, guardian-consent or child-safety process can result in account restriction or closure. Data from an underage account will be handled in accordance with applicable law and safety requirements.

11. How to report a safety concern

Report suspected grooming, threats, exploitation, unsafe communication or another child-safety issue to support@studyula.com. Provide useful context without unnecessarily forwarding unlawful or highly sensitive material.

12. How Studyula may respond

Depending on risk, Studyula may end sessions, restrict accounts or features, revoke institution roles, suspend or terminate access, preserve relevant evidence where lawful, and cooperate with competent authorities where legally required.

13. False reports and misuse

Knowingly filing a false child-safety report to punish, silence or damage another person is prohibited. A good-faith report that cannot ultimately be verified is not a violation merely because no breach is established.

14. Data retention and deletion

Child-safety records are retained only as needed for service protection, incident investigation, legal obligations or protection of rights. General retention and deletion practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Policy updates

We may update this policy as safety standards, law or Studyula features change. Material changes may be communicated through appropriate channels.

16. Contact

Child-safety questions and reports can be sent to support@studyula.com.
